Privacy and personal data

Membership and accounts: identity, contact details, application, commitment and validity period are used to manage membership, access and necessary club communications. The legal basis is performance of membership and requested pre-membership steps; accounting is based on legal obligations. Only fields marked as necessary are required.
Sharing preferences, public photos and your podium nickname are separate choices that you can withdraw. Only publish photos if you hold the rights and have consent from identifiable people. Forum topics are visible according to section permissions; do not post unnecessary contact details or sensitive data.
Donations and payments: received amounts, dates, references and necessary evidence are kept in the private club administration. The podium publishes no amounts. SumUp or PayPal processes payment details through its own service. The club does not store full card numbers or security codes; SumUp renewal uses an authorization and the last four digits.
Recipients: authorized club managers, IONOS hosting, and payment or messaging providers necessary for the service. Data is not sold. External videos are optional and contact their provider only after your choice. Some providers may process data outside the EU under their own safeguards and policies.
Retention: confirmation links 48 hours; confirmed requests without follow-up 30 days; useful accounts and forms during the relationship, followed by annual review and removal of unnecessary details within two years after it ends. Minimum accounting records: 10 years; consent or dispute evidence: five years after the agreement ends, unless longer retention is justified. Authors can remove their photos. Old forum topics are reviewed for removal or anonymization.
Your rights: request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, depending on the legal basis, objection or portability by emailing the club. Proportionate identity evidence may be requested if there is doubt. A response is provided within one month, subject to justified GDPR extensions. You may complain to the CNIL. Withdrawing publication does not remove legally required accounting records.
